In The Endless Zanhyang We Are

2014년 싱글앨범 한 장과 EP앨범 한 장을 발매한 안다영은 2015 KT&G 밴드디스커버리에서 우수상을 받은 후, 본격적으로 활동을 함께 할 멤버들을 찾는 중에 박성훈과 이건석, 김하람을 만나고 밴드로서 본격적인 활동을 시작한다. 2016년엔 자라섬에서 열리는 Rainbow Island Festival에 참가했으며, 2016 K-루키즈 우수상, 그리고 2016 EBS 올해의 헬로루키 심사위원 특별상을 수상하며 주목을 받았다. 밴드로서 더욱 확고한 입지를 다지기 위해 ‘안다영'이라는 이름 대신 ‘끝없는잔향속에서우리는'이라는 이름으로 활동명을 바꾸고 2017년 1월에 EP앨범 [우연의 연속에 의한 필연]을 발매한다. 2017년 10월에는 기존의 음악들과 조금 다른 스타일의 음악들 들려주는 싱글앨범 [야광바다]를 발매하며 앞으로 그들의 음악적 스펙트럼이 더욱 넓어질 것임을 예고했다. 끝없는잔향속에서우리는은 자신들의 음악을 '느린 춤' 이라고 표현한다. 그들의 음악은 몽환적인 사운드와 목소리가 함께하며, 불규칙적이면서도 무분별한 소리들의 연속이 주를 이룬다. 이들은 자신들의 음악을 통해 폭발하는 화염의 순간을 만들어낸다.

After receiving an award for excellence at the 2015 KT&G Band Discovery, Ahn Dayoung, who’d previously released a single and EP in 2014, met Sunghoon Park, Haram Lee and Gunseok Lee to form In The Endless Zanhyang We Are. The group quickly attracted the attention of the public and critics alike and after performing at 2016 Rainbow Island Festival they received further awards from K-Rookies and the ‘Hello Rookie of the Year’ competitions in 2016. In January 2017, they released their first full length album [Inevitability Under Consecutive Coincidence]. In October 2017 the band released a new single, Nightglow Sea, which demonstrated a fresh approach to their work and foreshadowed the broadening of their musical spectrum. In The Endless Zanhyang We Are thinks of their music as a ‘slow dance.’ It incorporates dreamlike sounds and vocals to create a moodscape teeming sounds that capture your senses. Within such a strong emotional musical atmosphere, In The Endless Zanhyang We Are creates a burst of flame that shoots through their sweeping, cascading sounds.

Eyre Llew는 영국 노팅햄 출신의 앰비언트 록 삼인조로, Sigur Ros, Bon Iver, Explosions in the Sky, A Winged Victory For The Sullen과 같은 밴드들과 어깨를 나란히 하는 밴드이다. 2014년 8월에 결성되어 아홉개의 싱글앨범을 발매했으며, 이후 셀프-프로듀싱한 12개의 트랙이 담긴 데뷔 앨범, “Atelo”를 발매했다. “Atelo”는 2017년 10월 19일 목요일 그들의 고향인 노팅햄의 500인 규모 합창단과 함께한 공연에서 처음 세상에 선보여졌으며, 이 날 공연은 전석 매진이 되었다. 발매된지 얼마 되지 않은 이 앨범은 이미 수많은 호평을 받고 있으며, ‘Drowned in Sound’ 2017년 탑 100 앨범에 선정되었다. 국제적으로 명성있는 음악매체들도 “Eyre Llew는 영국에 현존하는 수많은 밴드들 중, 의심할 여지없이 우리들을 제일 흥분시키는 몇 안되는 밴드들 중 하나이다" 라고 입을 모아 말하며 유명 음악매체 Gigwise와 의견을 함께 했다. 2018년은 영국, 유럽 그리고 아시아에서의 투어와 앨범 발매 계획으로 Eyre Llew가 한단계 진보할 수 있는 해가 될 것으로 기대가 된다.

Eyre Llew는 BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Kerrang! Radio 그리고 Jonny Owen의 다큐멘터리 ‘Don’t Take Me Home’를 포함한 다수의 영화와 TV에 여러번 출연한바 있다. 이 들은 The 405, Fred Perry Subculture, BBC와 Gigwise로부터 “현재 영국에서 볼 수있는 최고의 밴드들중 하나"라는 극찬을 받았으며, Drowned in Sound는 “꼭 보아야 할 밴드" 라는 코멘트를 남겼다.

2017년 겨울동안 진행된 두 달간의 긴 유럽 투어를 끝마친 후, Eyre Llew는 2018년 3, 4월에 영국, 유럽에서 진행될 두 개의 투어를 앞두고 있다. 또한 올 여름 영국과 유럽에서 진행될 음악페스티벌에서의 공연 후, 이 들은 아시아에서의 공연을 준비할 예정이다.

Eyre Llew are an atmospheric ambient-rock trio from Nottingham UK who have been touring worldwide since their sold out debut show in May 2015. In their first two years of existence they released nine singles in digital format before recording, producing and self-releasing the critically-acclaimed album Atelo, receiving great reviews from international music outlets including Kerrang, BBC Introducing, Louder Than War, God is in the TV Zine, Getintothis, and GoldFlakePaint among others, while landing at #24 in Drowned in Sound's Top 100 albums of 2017.

Having already been featured multiple times on BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, Kerrang! and a number of film/TV syncs including Jonny Owen's 'Don't Take Me Home' documentary, the band were further honored in 2018 by being nominated and shortlisted at The Great Escape Festival for three Unsigned Music Awards in Best Rock Act, Best Record, and Best Music Video categories.

By December 2018, Eyre Llew will have made UK festival appearances at: Y Not, Liverpool Sound City, The Great Escape, Alternative Escape, Dot to Dot, Focus Wales, Outlines, 2Q, Handmade, Perth Music Expo, Ritual Union, 110 Above, Beat The Streets, Splendour, Riverside, Waterfront, Farmfest, A Carefully Planned, Hockley Hustle, Karma Fest and Rockaway Beach and International festival appearances at; Beastie Rock (Taiwan), Seazone Music & Conference (Poland), Zandari Festa (South Korea), SpaceFest (Poland), Freilich Open Arts (Austria), POFF Shorts (Estonia) with many more to be announced very soon.

Earlier this year, they embarked on a UK tour with South Korean band In The Endless Zanhyang We Are as part of an international tour exchange, a venture which now sees the two bands performing together again in South Korea.
